SEPTEMBER, DAY OF THE SOLIDARIATE OF HUMANITY HERITAGE CITIES
As every year this September 8 Granada will be filled with culture to celebrate the
World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day, this day commemorates the
creation in 1 993 in Fez (Morocco) of the Organization of the Cities of the
World Heritage (OWHC), of which the city of Granada is also part of the
date coincides with the 25th anniversary of the declaration of the Albaicín as Heritage
of Humanity and the 35th anniversary of the appointment of the Alhambra with the same
Title.
