The International Festival of Poetry of Granada will feature the Nobel Prize for Literature John Maxwell Coetzee, in a year that will pay tribute to the recently disappeared Claribel Alegría and the late Ángel González, who inaugurated this cultural event 15 years ago, consolidated today as one of the most important in Spain in its kind.
Coetzee will be responsible for closing it on May 31 at the Palace of Carlos V, although the bulk of the program, which will also be taken to towns in the province.
The Huerta de San Vicente is once again the place chosen for the inauguration of this festival.
