Sacromonte

The Sacromonte is the most distinctive neighborhood of Granada, world famous for its cave dwellings and magnificent views, as well as being considered the cradle of flamenco.

Its flamenco and festive tradition is perceived in the shows that are held daily in the zambras (caves used as tablaos), as well as in the spontaneous samples that can appear at any time in the bars and terraces of the neighborhood.

It is also to admire its particular appearance, with its slopes plagued with prickly pears and its white houses that the sun dyes a deep red at sunset, an invitation to walk through its nooks and be carried away by the charm of the neighborhood.
